Saviour

Standard

I never wanted to save you. You don’t need that. You are not drowning. You just forgot how to swim. And I’m out of breath.

I am gaping for air. You can see me. There could be no clearer signs. You have to remember how to swim, soon. I can no longer carry you around. I can no longer stay in the sea. Save this. Be a hero.

I’m swimming to the shore.

I know you’ll make it out of there someday.

Farewell.
