As we breathe in, we put effort into holding that breath inside for a moment. We dedicate a fragment of a second of our lives to maintain a constant rhythm. And the longer you hold that breath inside, the harder you feel your heart beating.
There comes another fragment of time where all you do is breathe out, let go of that which you’ve held inside. On the other hand, you free yourself of the dedication to maintaing the constant rhythm, in fact, all you want to do is lose all obligations. And your heart beat slows down.
You feel the contrast, you catch yourself in a moment like this, and you are.. alive.
